New Castle, DE- The public is invited to attend a Town Hall Meeting to hear an update and discuss the district’s strategic planning process which began approximately three years ago. “Colonial-Moving to the Next Level!” will take place Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the George Read Middle School located at 314 E. Basin Road, New Castle, DE 19720.
“We are asking attendees to come prepared to think out-of-the-box and provide some more powerful input that will allow Colonial to continue to strive for excellence for our students and staff,” says Superintendent, Dr. Dorothy Linn.

Due to weather, the Town Hall meeting originally scheduled for January 21, 2014 had to be cancelled.
Remember, school begins at 8:20 a.m. and end at 3:14 p.m.

Approximately 3 years ago, you were a very important part of the Colonial School District’s
Strategic Planning process. Your valuable contributions were the basis for the direction of our district. We have made great progress, but it is now time for us to provide you with an update of our efforts and to discuss with you our plans for the 4th year. Therefore, I invite you to a Town Hall Meeting to discuss Colonial – Moving to the Next Level! This discussion will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at George Read Middle School, 314 E. Basin Road, New Castle, DE 19720.
